Shakti has been learning bharatnatyam for the last 11 years under the tutelage of Smt. Gayatri Sriram Shrutilaya School of Dance Singapore and Guru Smt. Minal Prabhu, founder of Mudrika Foundation, Bangalore. As a student of both, Shakti has had the privilege of performing at Vasanthaustavam in Perumal temple, Vadapathira Kaliamman Temple, Mudrika annual day in Bangalore. During the covid years, she performed on online platforms such as ISKON heritage, Umang by Samyoga and more. as well as competitions, such as the Papanasam Sivan Dance Competition and the Dance Planet International Championship, where she has won many awards.
